Huron Substation


 HURON SUBSTATION DESCRIPTION & RATES FOR EVENTS  
The Huron SubStation is an intimate and fully unique setting located just north of downtown Los Angeles (where the 110 meets the 5 freeway). The interior boasts vintage brick (circa 1906), arched windows, a 45’ high ceiling with skylights, 12’ high arched doors opening onto a napa pebble courtyard (featuring a modern concrete and steel fountain and string lighting), and an 8’ diameter steel chandelier hovering over the main room. We are a boutique; European style business that believes small is beautiful.
 
2015 Fees/Requirements:
  • Friday, Saturday, Sundays (holidays) 12:00PM- 12:00AM*
    • Under 100 guests $5800.00 
    • 100 Guests or more $6050.00  
  • Sunday (non-holiday) 10:00AM-10:00PM
    • Under 100 Guests $5500.00 
    • 100 Guests or More $5750.00                                        
  • LMS Valet is a required vendor. Link to estimates
  • Additional Cleaning Fee $250.00
  • 24 hour $1,000,000 liability insurance policy.
  • $2500.00 deposit

  • Hand-Crafted, Wooden Tables:Hand-Crafted, custom-made, two-toned wooden tables lend a rustic charm to your space.  Tables may be used for dining, buffet, guest-book, gift table, sweetheart table, or anything else you may be planning.

  • Folding Café Style Chairs:Natural Wood slatted folding café chairs with a metal frame.

  • Benches:Hand-Crafted, custom-made wooden benches are 4’x1’ and stained to match the wooden tables.  May be used as guest seating for lounge, ceremony, dinner, or all of the above.  Each Bench seats 2-3 people.

  • 8’ long, diorama style bar (customizable) on wheels.
  • Ceiling mounted digital surround sound system (ipod compatible)
  • Projection system with 14’ wide screen.
  • Access to kitchen: dual ovens, 4 burners, salamander grill and a griddle, limited refrigeration (access for approved caterers only- Fees may be assessed If additional large cooking equipment is brought in)
  • Private make-up room/bridal suite.

  • Access to over 3500 square feet of space via the main room, courtyard, and mezzanine.

Additional Info:
  • Maximum number of guests: 125
  • We close at midnight Friday, Saturday and Holiday weekends.  We close at 10:00PM Sunday-Thursday.
  • Apologies, we do not accommodate wedding rehearsals.
  • All vendors must be licensed and insured.
  • We are an indoor/outdoor venue.
  • We are in a constant process of implementing improvements and new design elements.
